“The Church Hotel Hanoi is the perfect gem! Comfortable beds with warm feather quilts, hot showers, tasty omelets at breakfast, helpful staff, GREAT location. The hotel is a mere half-block from St Joseph's, the steps of which fill up on weekend evenings, making for a jolly local scene. Numerous nice shops line the neighboring streets, and there are several good cafes close by. Be sure to book rooms in the back, however, as double-paned windows have not been installed, and construction noise is inevitable. We will definitely stay here again.”

"I booked the Church Hotel  Hanoi on a recommendation and was pleased to find a clean, modern, well located hotel. The staff at the Church Hotel Hanoi was pretty good as was the breakfast.

Location was excellent. Very close to Ho Kiem Lake without the chaos of the Old Quarter. The surrounding area is great with quite a few nice restaurants, shops and cafes.

Of the 3 hotels I have stayed in Hanoi, this is by far and away the best in quality, cleanliness and value. In fact, this was one of the best places I have stayed in Vietnam and it was under $45.
